Short Term Food Storage Ideas

When shopping buy “extra amounts” of these
gradually, stocking up. Date them and rotate.
Place in rodent/bug proof containers.
Dry pasta: macaroni
Dry pasta: spaghetti
Rice
Spaghetti sauce canned in jars (store in dark place)
Canned tuna (oil packed)
Cans of cream of mushroom (or celery) soup
Dry milk
Oats
Raisins
Large Block of Cheddar Cheese in your freezer
(thawed cheese will be crumbly)
Canned green beans
Balance the amounts you purchase so you
could prepare the following meals:
- Tuna/mac/mushroom soup casserole
- Spaghetti w/sauce
- Macaroni w/cheese (milk)
- Oatmeal w/Raisins (milk)
Whenever you empty a Clorox bottle doing laundry,
remove label, fill it with water, date it + label & store.
Keep one extra Clorox gallon on hand but
store that in laundry area.
