To Cook & Glaze Doughnuts:
**BE CAREFUL! WATCH OIL!
NO CHILDREN IN THE ROOM!**
Heat oil (but not on high) until piece of bread gently browns golden & floats
(1½" deep oil in cast iron pot) Turn dough then with fork.
Drip a bit and glaze while hot.
Glaze is warm & on the stove
Powdered sugar
hot water
a little knox gelatin in hot water
and a little corn syrup
to make the glaze better consistency
+ vanilla
