"Cathedral Window Candy" (Fran)
1/4 pound margarine
1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 egg (beaten)
1 cup broken nuts (if desired)
1-16 oz (or more) colored miniature marshmallows
1-3 1/2 oz can flaked coconut
Melt margarine & chocolate. Cool slightly & stir in beaten egg & the powdered sugar.
Fold in nuts and marshmallows; stir till well coated. Place 1/3 of coconut on wax paper & put
1/3 of soft candy on it. Shape into a roll & coat with the coconut. Roll onto the wax paper & twist each end tightly. Repeat with other 2/3 rds. Put in refrigerator or freezer & when cold, cut into slices. Enjoy!
