II. “Raisin & Apricot Filling” for the fruit filled cookies Chop 1 cup raisins and they add a 15 oz. can apricots (chop off most of juice) & then add 2 tablespoons flour 3/4 cup sugar Cook ‘til slightly thickened. Stir constantly as it burns easily. Only takes a few minutes of cooking. Set aside to cool. After baking the cookies, frost with powdered sugar frosting (powdered sugar, little butter, milk) and vanilla While still moist, sprinkle a little coconut on the frosting. These are special cookies!!! P.S. We use to have these, when I was a little girl on the farm in South Dakota. My mom made them at Christmas. Love, Grandma
