Grandma Great's triangle apricot cookies
½ cup crisco & ½ cup margarine
1½ cups sugar & 2 (beaten) eggs
¼ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla
3½ cups flour or enough flour so they roll out easily. Chill the dough before rolling out.
Cut into 2¼ inch squares
Put about ½ tsp. apricot jam on each square
Fold over, not quite half & do not press down.
Bake on greased cookie sheet - 375° oven 10 min.
Makes about 40 cookies
Takes ½ 18 oz. jar of Pineappleapricot jam. Enjoy!"
