Chinese Pepper Steak
Cut into thin strips 1 1/2 pound round steak (Just cut into strips - no pounding & no flour)
Brown in grease and pour off grease.
Add: 1 cup consomme (which is a broth like)
Cover tightly and cook slowly for 1 hour.
Cut into strips - 2 large green peppers,
1/4 cup chopped onion; 2 cup chopped celery;
3 Tablespoons pimento; 1 Tablespoon salt;
1/8 teaspoon pepper and 1/8 teaspoon garlic.
Add these ingredients to meat, cover and simmer covered for 20 minutes.
Thicken juices with following:
1 Tablespoon corn starch
3 Tablespoons water
2 teaspoons soy sauce
